My h\HTC one x camera says unable to start when I try to use it. This came out of the blue. Any ideas?

Have you tried the following:
- re-starting the phone
- clearing space and trying again
- (back up then) factory reset
If all of those fail to solve the problem, I would contact HTC / your network to arrange for a repair.
