Help HTC One X help.

Hello all, I just bought an HTC One X phone today and am already confused. My main problem, is when I set up my facebook account, it syncs ALL 500 of my friends into my phone. Even when I clicked don't sync, it still syncs ALL 500. My second problem, my twitter contacts and email account will not sync, it just says "syncing is down at this time and will be back up shortly. Thanks for any help I can get!

I've had syncing go down occasionally. Just wait a day or two for them to fix it. I'd remove your facebook account (Which should remove the contacts it already synced then readd it but make sure when you readd it that syncing is off to begin with.

Yeah I have had to remove my facebook account and re add it like 6 times to try and fix this. But if I turn sync off then won't it not sync anything else? Then once I turn it back on won't it automatically sync them all again anyway>

The contacts that I want, I would like to sync them and ONLY them to facebook, and I know there is an option for that. But still, when I select it, it still syncs all 500.

I was having the same problem with my HTC Vivid. I just got my One X and haven't even done anything with FB cuz its so frustrating!! I have heard a lot of bad stuff about the FB app and a lot of ppl don't like it at all! No matter how many times I told it to not sync, it still did!! My only solution is to not use it at all! I know that doesn't really help you tho, sry!

Yeah, I am not even using my facebook either.. When I first got it, I tried to figure it out so many times. I had to remove the facebook account I set up to remove the contacts, then tried again and again and again. Probavbly did this about 7 times until I finally gave up lol.
