Help HTC ONE X Keyboard - Speech to text

I have been trying to get the speech to text on the keyboard to work on 2g/3g but every time it says listening then comes back connection error. Yet it works ok on WIFI no problem. Is there something I am not doing correct or is this how should work.

As its a damn good feature

I just held down the power key until it reboot. I am however assuming that you already tried this.

Does it not have to check some internet database for translations or something? Maybe if you're on 3G and doing loads of words at a time, it's too much data for the connected to take?

Does it work on 3G if you do one sentence at a time or is that how you do it?

i just got off from htc chat line and they got me to do a soft reset again...and because of the network and where i am in connection to their signal, i only get G and occasionally 3g.

Since the soft reset i now get a slow response instead of no connection, i get 3 little dots now which shows its working...

On wifi it flies. At least i now know i havent got a duff phone but a dire siganl
