Help HTC One X+ - removable drive on Apple MacBook Pro Mountain Lion OSX 10.8.2...

Hi all,

just bought a HTC One X+ and am unable to get it showing on my desktop as a removable drive.

I have tried the USB debugging thing and it didnt work.

I dont like HTC Sync software or Android File Transfer.

I just want to see it as a removable drive. Any suggestions?

thanks for the link.

USB mass storage is catered for via Windows 7. I tried it out on my wifes work computer and it cam up as USB mass storage no problem.

I am using a MacBook Pro running OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.2

So how do I get it to do the same on the aforementioned MacBook Pro?

Help! This is a deal breaker for me.

I tried Airdroid and just don't like it as it's only a workaround to being able to see it as a removable drive on your desktop. Plus it's really slow to do any transferring. It appears in Windows 7 as HTC One X+ Portable Media Player. So why not in OSX, surely there is a workaround so that you can see it as a removable usb mass storage device?
