HTC ONE X (US) keeps deleting old emails?

My HTC One X keeps deleting all of my emails, it's so frustrating. I can't find in my settings where I have it set to do this. Does anyone else have this problem? It's such a bother when I'm looking for certain emails and they're randomly gone, so now I have to use Andriod's horrible web browser just to find an email.

They are not being deleted. By default you only refresh mail that is less than a week old. Just go into setting and change it to 'all' and you will see everything. I made this mistake too.
