Apologies if this has been raised before bit I am new to the forum. Certain videos will not play on either my laptop or via streaming on the tv. I have not changed any video settings and this has only started to happen recently so not sure if it is related to the JB update. Any help much appreciated

Do you know what format the videos are in? Is it stuff you've recorded with your phone? Mpg/3gp etc?
Also, are you using a USB/MHL Cable or streaming via WiFi/DLNA?

I have been recording from the phone in the standard set up and streaming via dnla. The issue is some play ok and others do not. I did change the resolution on the phone briefly to 1920x1080 but changed back to 1280x720 but this has not rectified. My laptop normally plays any file format but even the laptop cannot display, although there is sound.
