My third One X is currently with HTC being repaired. On return I, too, will sell it. I also have the Samsung Galaxy S3. Not a single problem; wonderful phone. Some companies can do it.

Bugger. Hate the idea my phone may have some sort of hardware fault. Wish there was a way to test for it without risking damage to the phone or causing the fault to appear.

The S3 is fresh out. These issues with the HOX are becoming general public knowledge now after it has been out for a wee while.
Given the quantitites of S3 that are going to be manufactured, I wouldn't be shocked if something didn't come to light with that phone as well.

I know what you are saying, but most of the problems with the One X were apparent from the beginning. I have had my S3 for three weeks, and I think that I, and the millions of others that bought it, would be reporting issues by now. Just look at the respective forums: one is full of problems; the other isn't.

ETA: Apart from the pebble blue issue, of course.

i probably will use my iphone. I can wait for a month and 2. but having a faulty phone with hardware issue.. this has depleted my love for HOX

I have just got my One X back from HTC. After the repair, there is a marginal improvement. Before it saw 16 satellites, and couldn't lock on to any. Now it sees 16, and can lock on to three or four, but jumps around all over the place. In contrast, my Samsung S3 sees 18 and locks - strongly - on to 16.

HTC have a serious problem.

As I tested the phone five minutes after receiving it back from HTC, I hoped I wouldn't need to do this.
