HTC Preps Emergency Patch For Android Phones

After reading an article today that talked about HTC patching the flaw if Sprint sends out the fix OTA should I accept it of my Evo is rooted?

"Following a short testing period by our carrier partners, the patch will be sent over-the-air to customers, who will be notified to download and install it," said HTC. According to the company, it's "working very diligently to quickly release a security update that will resolve the issue on affected devices."

you should not accept any OTA updates if you are rooted! not until the dev has had time to smoke over the build.

Check out Good and Evo for a patch that removes the HTC loggers for rooted phones.
