how do i clear the history of the htc search widget?, all my previous search terms are there with no way to clear

i search a lot of things, and i sometimes have to show it to a lot of people, and a lot of people dont like a lot of things, and a lot of things shown to a lot of people may cause a lot of problems if ya know what i mean

go to settings search and the third option is to "clear search shortcuts". it will not clear the browser history but will clear what appears when you hit the search magnifying glass
