HTC Sensation G14/G18 root problem

I just attempted to root my HTC Sensation G14/G18 pyramid yesterday. I unlocked its bootlaoder with the tool from kingoapps, and i used their root tool to root as well. Both went successfull, but there's something strange with it. When i run root checker on the phone, it says that i have root. Rom manager downloads cwm recovery, and just after download it says sucessfully flashed. But no other root apps work, busybox wont install, i cant reboot/boot into cwm recovery. My goal is to reach a vanilla android kitkat experience. The most clean. With root.

What would be my next step?

Are you making sure you watch for the Superuser request to popup and then select always when you grant it to your root apps? Maybe try downloading SuperSU from the play store and see if that helps. Finally, on booting into CWRecovery, sometimes you need to perform a terminal command to make a custom recovery 'stick' on a stock rooted ROM.
