hey! I own a HTC Sensation. nearly 1.4 years old. not rooted. upgraded to the latest software made available by HTC. now the problem is that since the past 3 months, my phone's touch seems to stop working. i know it's the touch because in case i am texting the cursor would still be blinking (if it hangs, the cursor too hangs). if i try locking and unlocking, it still wouldn't work. many a times the issue resolves after taking out the battery and restarting the phone (only restarting doesn't help). but at times when that doesn't work, i sort of press the touch screen from the edges. i got a new screen fixed 6 months back from HTC store. and secondly, my phone hangs a lot. not freezing, but everything goes black. only when i take out the battery and put it in again, does that go away. happens like twice a day. no virus (i have avg antivirus). but i do use Go Launcher!! any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS: i would not really understand technical stuff. call center employees keep telling me to give it to the service center (LOT OF MONEY)... so plz use lame-man's language. :)

First thing I would try is removing the Go Launcher.

If you're getting low on internal storage, try clearing some space and removing apps you no longer use.

Assuming none of this helps, I'd back everything up and try a factory reset. Leave it a day or so before adding apps and launchers to see if it makes any difference - the issue could be poorly coded apps.

Otherwise, the repair may be your best option - I'm guessing you're not in Europe or your phone would still be within warranty so assuming there's no physical damage, this would not cost anything.
