Help HTC Sensation No HBOOT Screen?

Hi Guys,

I just bought a HTC Sensation from some guy on the net. (could be a bad move, I know). I immediately brought it home and tried to root it but i noticed there is no HBOOT screen. I held volume down and the HTC Logo screen comes up and => FACTORY MODE shows on the bottom left of the screen. Then a black screen with Factory Mode written at the top appears. Underneath it says

Version
Shutdown
When i got to version there is a screen with yellow type. It says UBoot Ver. : 2010.06

I used to have a desire and I know the Hboot screen. What is Uboot? Am i doing something wrong here?

I read in a couple of forums
"With your phone turned ON, go to Settings > Power > Fast Reboot and uncheck fast reboot."
The thing ism under Settings on my phone there is no section that says Power?

Im confused, can anyone help me out here?

hiya mate, i also have a sensation, after coming from a desire. just rooted it and the only way i can access hboot screen is to remove battery after turning off. then power and vol down button. have you tried this .

On my Sensation XE, there is a Power option and you can uncheck the Fastboot option there...then the volume down + power button method will work.
