Help HTC Sensation touch screen .. help !!

Ok I've had my Sensation for over two years without a problem. Last week my screen would not unlock. Too costly to repair. Got new contract (HTC One) and got my old number back. Now my problem is that I cannot unlock my phone to access my contacts or photos. I know, I know I should have backed up my contacts .... but I didn't .... Any ideas on how to access them when I cannot unlock the screen ???:(

Were the contacts backed up to your gmail account? If you log in to gmail via a PC, can you see a list of your contacts here?

Also, photos etc should be backed up to the SD Card so if you remove the SD Card and copy them to your PC, you should be good to transfer them to your new phone.
 
thanks :) I didn't have contacts synced I'm afraid .. i tried the sd card in the wifes phone but it appears to be empty ?? I wonder whether it was wiped when I took it into the shop to see if it could be repaired ... I've tried to access the phones memory via computer and HTC sync but it cannot access the phone until the phone is unlocked ... is there any way to get around the locked screen at all ??
 
if the phone numbers were synced to the sd card, where would they be list ed? ie what folder would they be in ... I've just managed to access the sd card (dunno why I couldn't before) ..
