Have been having a problem with HTC Sense failing and having to be force closed. It seems to happen when the current location is unknown to the weather app. The current location shows no weather on the weather widget, and trying to flick to another designated location causes HTC Sense to fail. That problem got worse and worse and then finally when the phone was turned on the HTC Sense kept failing to load and had to be force closed over and over, so the boot never completed. A hard reset fixed that problem but lost all my data and settings, even though they were supposed to have been backed-up to the SD card.
I have disabled weather in Sense and the problem has gone away.
Any ideas?
