I have a friend who is a top exec at Linked In, they are aware of the problem and working on it. He himself has experienced it, as he just bought an Inspire.
Once the problem is resolved I will post back.

Thanks I also see Linkedin has released a beta Android app. So hopefully soon they will release it.

Guess they or HTC never got this fixed... still busted, at least on the EVO3D
