Help HTC Sense Lost?

I get this message: "Sorry. The application HTC Sense (process com.htc.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." followed by a "Force close" button. When I do the forced close, it goes to a HTC white screen, then "loading", then back to the Sorry.... again. I can't get back to the Home screen or menu or settings. I do seem to be able to make phone calls however.

I did change themes to a clean sheet(?), just before this started.

Any suggestions?

I've got fc issues, but never total loss after flash animations in weather satellite imagery and other flash content.

Did you figure this out? This is happening to me right now. I was using Zedge and downloading some ringtones and when I went back to my home screen it started.

Never did... had other issues affecting phone and finally did a factory reset.
I got rid of alot of apps and learned how to get rid of cached memory because I
Had very little internal memory storage.
Still get the 'white HTC screen' after reset... even just by visiting web sites heavy with
flash content. Keeping available internal memory high as possible has made
my hero quicker but...
Think it's HTC flashlite only handles some flash content, seriously thinking about
rooting but waiting for big sprint announcements in Feb for new phones.

I had this same exact FC issue before I rooted. I had to take it into a Sprint store for a factory reset. My FC issue also started when I changed a theme.

If you hit the search hard key repeatedly while it trys to load AFTER the "sprint now" load screen, you should be able to search for the phone settings widget, from there you can get to a few of the phone functions. You could hypothetically download z4root, from the net, then search for the market and get rom manager to flash a rom.
You wouldn't be able to make a clean stock nandroid as a backup tho.

I'd take it into a Sprint store to get it factory restored first, then get one of the Gurus to help you root. Mahalo Cat here, DonB, and Andyg3 helped me immensly, trust them, they know what they are doing.
