I have the Hero and really like it a lot. I am going to the Droid but am a little anxious about not having sense ui. All the "improvements" they have mentioned in the android 2.0 seem to be already done by sense and in many cases seems to be better. Integrated contacts w/social networking and unified inbox/email/messaging, even integrated into the contact app.
Multitouch zooming in email and webbrowsing. Slick as hell graphics. The music player is slick. The widgets are very nice. Droid video seems better but stills seem considerably worse. Its like 2 steps forward in specs but 5 steps backward in functionality, UI and execution.
I've said it a thousand times in the winmo space over the past decade and I'll say it here. I'm tired of hearing they'll fix it in an update etc etc. These companies (Moto, HTC, Samsung etc etc) have decades more experience and hundreds if not thousands of phones under their belt and there is just no excuse to have the defects that they put out with their phones especially when a fledgeling handset maker like Apple beats them all even to this day with their first offering and kills them with only the third iteration of their 1st handset.... NO EXCUSES!
