Help HTC Sync and 2.3.3

I'm getting fed up with stuff not working after this 2.3.3 update.

First time trying to sync via USB after installing 2.3.3 and now my phone and pc won't find each other. When i chane the usb connection type, it tries to find HTC sync on my pc, but then times out. HTC Sync is open and running at the time.

Tried making sure I have the latest version of sync on PC, but no difference. Only happened since upgrading.

Anyone help?

Rather than try to sort HTC Sync, it's probably easier pointing you in the direction of MyPhoneExplorer, it's much better at doing HTC Syncs job than HTC Sync is....

cheers for that. looks like a good bit of software. Can't connect to it though!

Get a "socket error - cannot forcefully eject phone"??

Lol, sods law the workaround I gave doesn't work either, apologies.

Are you trying Wirelessly or via the USB Cable? Also, just checking, but did you install the app on your handset too?

It's cool. Got it working now. It's like lightning compared to HC sync. It's backed everything up dead quick. Cheers for your help.

No probs, just from memory, I think you have to tell it to sync the pics manually or set it up separately, I can't remember.

You may want to check they have synced.
