I have been using HTC Sync 3.0 on my computer (Having Windows Viata Professional SP1 OS) without any hassle to sync my HTC Wildfire S till recent past when I uninstalled it to install the latest version of HTC Sync 3.3. The installer did not show any error but when I click the HTC Sync icon in the system tray, a window pops up, but closes immediately. It does not give any time to read any message that appears on the window. Restarting and reinstalling did not help. So I reverted to Sync 3.0. But now, ironically, it does not work either. Upon opening the Sync application, it shows a warning message "HTC Sync has no response, please exit it and try again".

I found in one of the threads that Adobe AIR is the culprit and as given in that thread, I tried different version of AIR. In fact I tried three different vesions of AIR (2.6, 3.7 and 3.9) on both the versions of HTC Sync with no use. Can someone give a solution to this?
