Help htc sync don't detect my phone

Hi,
I tried HTC sync and it work fine on mac OS, but it don't work on windows 7. I don't get any screen asking me to connect to htc sync on the device (even with mac OS I don't get any message in the phone but it works). I get something like that

I tried different versions of htc Sync Manager, with 2 desire X and still not working. I have Android 4.1.1 installed on both desire X phones. All what I need is to access my photos who are on the sd card. I can do it with the card reader but I need another solution.

This forum is for the original Desire, so there may be things about the Desire X we do not know.

If something works on a Mac but not Windows then "have you got the right drivers installed?" is the first thing to check.

There are also various WiFi transfer apps you could try (Airdroid or WiFi File Explorer, for example). Those would let you copy pictures without using USB.
