Help HTC Sync issue

I downloaded HTC sync, it recognized my HTC legend when I connected it, but for some reason it will only allow me to sunc my music, documents and pictures.

I wanted to factory reset my phone, and I did not want to lose my contacts. Can anybody tell me why I cannot click or sync the "People" tab in HTC sync?

Welcome to the forums!

I don't have a HTC Legend but hopefully one of our fellow members with a Legend can help you. I moved it for you so maybe you can get a quicker answer.

I think you need to have Outlook installed for HTC Sync to extract your contacts.

Sadly, I use Thunderbird, which is currently not supported.
