HTC Sync screws PC display settings

Updated to the latest HTC sync version 2.0.33. Now when its installed my monitor will not run above 8bit, if set higher (normal is 32bit), the screen just keeps cycling.

If I uninstall HTC sync monitor is fine.

Any ideas people?

Sorted eventually. Uninstalled all traces of HTC on the PC, did system restore to 2 days ago, installed HTC sync ver 2.0.28 from phone.
