HTC Sync with TATTOO

Hi

I've downloaded the bluetooth file transfer app to my Tatto but it won't work unless I now update my software. I've downloaded the HTC Sync to my computer - so far so good. My phone can't find HTC Sync on my PC and my PC is saying it needs the Android Bridge Driver (all this info from my IT professional brother called in to assist as I haven't a clue!!) Google ABD and we're told that this download is only for developers of apps. I don't know how to move forward with this now. Any ideas?

bluetooth file transfer does not work on Tattoo, because it has Android 1.6. Bluetooth file transfer is available in newer Android releases: at the moment it is not sure if HTC will ever release an Android update for Tattoo
