Help HTC Thunderbolt and Sync

This is my third TB replacement. I am trying to pair this phone with my 2010 Focus. I had no problems with the first two. My car sees my device with no problem. It's the TB....there is no place to put the PIN Number the Focus gives me. Tells me to find Sync on my phone. I go to Settings, then Accounts & Sync. There is nothing there where I can type in the PIN Number. Any one else ever have this problem? As I stated before, I had no problem with the 1st two devices.
