Help HTC Wildfire - HTC Sync problem *Solved*

Hello there, I recently treated myself with a HTC Wildfire (updated to v2.2 Froyo)
I downloaded the latest version of HTC Sync v3.0 installed it, got it working with the USB Debugging mode as suggested on HTC.com ..

The thing is that both my "People" and "Calendar" tabs are locked, I can click them, but there is no option to click on/off, the options are displayed but locked, I've imported my contacts from the sim card to the phone memory as the troubleshoot suggested but it still shows nothing. Same goes for the "Calendar" the on/off option is locked aswell..

Is there anyone out there that can guide me how to get this thing fixed?

*Update* I also tried the option of exporting contacts to the SD card, but the results are the same. I also tried using HTC Sync v2.2 but it wouldn't recognize my phone, or said it was disconnected although it was recognized right away when I started HTC Sync v3.0

*Update:

I've removed all sync apps and drivers from the computer, disabled Virus apps, System Shield, Registry apps and Windows Firewall, rebooted, installed the HTC Sync v3.0 after the reboot, rebooted both phone and PC again, but the problem still remains the same.

The problem is solved, I found a program called MyPhoneExplorer which allows me to edit contacts via PC.
