Help HTC Wildfire S rings and vibrates at the same time!?

I need help with my new phone. I just got the HTC Wildfire S and it's amazing. However, there is one thing that's driving me nuts and making my battery hate me.

I've tried everything but every time I receive a call, it both rings and vibrates in normal. I unchecked vibrate and it still does it. Any idea how to fix this?

PS. Nothing else vibrates except the normal vibe when moving apps around and normal vibration in vibrate mode. Silent is working fine.

The battery will take a while to settle if it's only new. I've had mine a couple of weeks and it looks as though it's finally settling down. What sort of life are you getting?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, do you want vibration off altogether?

Well the battery is doing fine... I'm getting a day or two life outta it and that's with wifi and everything on. I'm not too worried about it. It's just I want to get the most out of my battery without the vibration motor drawing life out of it that it doesn't need to when the phone is in normal.

What I want to do is turn the vibration off while it's ringing when I receive a call. You see my phone vibrates whenever it receives a call regardless of whether it's in vibrate or normal.

Settings -> Sound.

There are 2 vibrate options there, are both unticked?

Yes they are. That should be the options "Vibrate: Vibration feedback for calls and notifications" and "Vibrate Feedback: Vibrate when pressing soft keys and on certain UI interactions". Am I right?

But yes they are both unchecked and it still does it DX.
