Hi. is the wildfire s a good buy for about $80. i heard it is slow and has a poor battery but is that a reason enough to rather opt for samsung ace or something better?

Hi
IMO if you just want to make calls, answer texts, emails and basic stuff its fine and very portable. Battery is removeable - never had much trouble with battery life.

Memory is limited for apps and its not very fast. If you are into big apps/games you'll be disappointed. No 2nd camera. Limited to Gingerbread unless you root - I doubt its got enough power or storage for Jelly Bean to run properly.

Thanks alot for your answer. It saves me alot of time. from your post i am that person who just uses a phone for the basics like whatsapp, email, pdf's, wifi browsing and calls, pics to upload and a few apps. if you suggest any better phone for the same price as a wildife s but as small etc.. please post. also, is it true that the bigger the processor/memory in a phone the more data you will use? in that case maybe the S is a good buy.

Hi again

I don't think data usage has anything to do wroth processor power. At $80 you can't really go wrong.
