Help HTC1X keeps losing Data Connection!

Hi people!

I recently bought a HTC One X and had it unlocked so I could use it with my Virgin Mobile account (as the phone is locked with Rogers in Canada).

Anyways...I was forced to customise the APN settings in the phone so that I was able to use my data. I phoned Virgin and one of their agents gave me the APN so I could get online, but that's all the support they offer since I don't have a Virgin phone.

Here is the setting I put in;

APN: inet.bell.ca

It solved my issue temporarily, and everything was working great for the first week until I realized that I was unable to send/receive MMS. I quickly went online and found the proper settings to enable all of the features of my data plan, and now was able to do MMS.

Here are the settings that I'm now using;

APN: inet.bell.ca
Proxy: web.wireless.bell.ca
Port: 80
Username: <Not set>
Password: <Not set>
Server: <Not set>
MMSC: http://mms.bell.ca/mms/wapenc
MMS proxy: web.wireless.bell.ca
MMS port: 80
MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
MCC : 302
MNC : 610
APN type : <Not set>

NOW HERE IS MY PROBLEM!... I noticed almost immediately after I added the new settings that my data connection would intermittently disconnect then reconnect 30 seconds later. This happens about once every 3-5 minutes, and has become quite a bother to me! Every time I'm browsing the web or using an app that required an internet connection, the connection seems to fail and reboot every few minutes. So although my features are working, the lack of consistency on the data connection is driving me crazy. And Virgin Mobile is offering no support, they say it's a problem with the phone.

Any idea's as to what is going wrong here? Do I need to adjust the settings again?
