Root HTCDev issue

Fhuron

Newbie
I posted in the newbie guide already, but decided I needed a little more exposure...
I started the root process tonite, got the Token and go to HTCDev.com, but it seems they aren't taking new registrations for the next 24 to 48 hours due to extensive maintenance of their site.... so no my phone is staring at me in fastboot and I will likely need it before HTC gets their crap together.
How do I get my phone back to working ? I don't want to just yank the battery unless I'm sure nothing will go wrong with it... I mean, I SHOULD be safe as I don't think anything has been done to it yet as it's not unlocked (Thanks HTC), just would like some reassurance
:)

Is that what's going on? My registration on the HTCdev site won't work either. I've been sitting here waiting for them so I can do this root too.

Registration worked tonite, so they must have ironed out whatever it was.

Thanks for the info about pulling the battery, I had already done that. They said to use the volume buttoms to go down the menu to reboot, but my phone had evidently locked up.:D
