HTC's Friends/Favorites Widget

Hello,
Is there a free widget similar to HTC's friends/favorites? As it's HTC, it's not available in any of the other launchers.

Perhaps I should also ask, is there a way to use HTC's friends/favorites widget with other launchers?

i' believe that any HTC widget requires the sense-UI, along with the phone specifically allowing "HTC Sense" syncing (menu->settings->accounts & sync). Can anyone confirm this?

you have to use htc sense to use those widgets. Im on lpp and just checked my accounts & sync and it shows htc sense as synced with the little green circle

With the paid version of lp you get access to the widgets which include friends, fb, twitter, bookmarks, people, calendar, messaging.

launcher pro plus has some nice sense-like widgets, including the friends one..
