Help huawei activa apk help!

so i rooted my phone and then my status bar ended up messing up so i accidentally deleted the file then i got another phone thats the same exact thing and i copied that systemui.apk file onto my phone but it doesn't want to install. i can't seem to get this and the same with the settings.apk file. does anyone know how to fix this? i havent had a status bar or been able to put wifi on my phone for almost a month

Hi and welcome to Android Forums!

I guess my question would be this: when you copied the system file and before pasting it into the system partition, did you enable Read/Write? /System is a Read Only partition unless your file manager (I use Root Explorer) sets Read/Write. After pasting, set Read Only again. Hope this fixes it
