ok so i just got this phone and ive had iphones for past 5 years im trying to get use to it but driving me crazy im use to being to just load anything free i have tried 4shared does not work anyhow real reason im here is i hate the second screen when you press the little box it goes to all your apps is there any way to make folders for that screen to put all unwanted apps in a folder i dont use half of those apps and they annoy me and also what are some cool apps that you have for your phone so i can pimp my phone out

You can remove the apps you don't want. You can also re-arrange them so that they show up in a separate window.

You can put all your most frequently used apps in the first window that appears.

When you have your first window up, look at the little icons going across the bottom of your screen. The one on the far right has a little arrow pointing to a box. Select that and you will see the windows you have available to you now. You can create more. Just look at your manual.

I promise it is easy.

There are lots of cool apps available on the Ascend. Just go to the market and see what the top ones are. Zedge and Music Box are two nice apps with a lot of free downloads.

Good luck. You are going to love your new Ascend when you get used to it. It's amazing for the price. It works as good as my friends really expensive 'droids'. The only downside is the camera has no flash but I rarely take pics with my phone so it isn't a biggie with me.

On one of your phones home screens hold your finger still and add shortcuts or widgets for all the suff you regularly use i have 5 of the 9 screens loaded up

I agree hit "menu" the "add" then all the widgets and apps you want, to your main screen. It's the easiest way. You can have all the main apps you want already loaded up on the first screen you see. You also have multiple screens so if you fill one up you can just rub your finger across the screen and move to another and add more.

Best part about it is, a good majority of all the apps they mention in these forums you can use on your phone. Except it doesn't have the Android 2.2. So somethings won't work, like FB sync.

is there anyone that has screens for these phones? i have important info on my phone an metro pcs isnt helping retrieve it at all . . . is there anyone that can help me??
