Huawei ascend "sorry" error

As soon as I turn the thing on it says Sorry! And then it says something about an application com something something.... and then it takes me to a blank screen with a green loading circle in the middle. It lets you pull down the drop down bar but it says no service and it won't let you see your home screen. My phone only turns on when its plugged in and only turns off (when in error) If I pull down the drop down screen and then hold down the power button. Grr. this is inconvenient.

Hello and thanks for joining Android Forums. I'm sorry you are having problems. I would think the best line of attack for your problem would be to check in with the users of your Ascend. Here is a link to that area:

If you've rooted your Ascend you will want to follow the root link at the top of the Ascend page. Ask your question there and state any thing you've done to your phone that might have caused the problem. If you haven't already, you might try powering down the phone... pulling the battery out.. waiting a minute.. replacing and powering up again. Sometime it's a simple fix as that to get you back right. Best of luck to you and thanks for joining Android Forums.
