Huawei Honor 6 Stuck on installing update

hi, i have huawei honor 6 and just update it to android 6.0

I then decided to factory reset it and delete cache. After that, the phone just got stuck at loading screen. I tried everything, did a factory reset again, let it load for some time, but it didn't help. Then i saw in one of the forums that i should press all keys together while having a charger connected, which i did and it brought me to an update page.

The problem is, update is stuck at 5%; it just says: "Installing update... 5%"

I don't know what to do at this point. I can't even access phone's storage because it doesn't show up in my pc.

Any help would be appreciated.

yikes that sucks. i'm not familiar with your phone, so you did a hard reset using vol and power button combinations correct? if so and you are still having issues you might want to try and flash a firmware for your phone.

if that does not work then your phone might have a hardware issue.

Honor 6 has just updated to Android 6? This phone is around 5 years old, and hasn't been updated by Huawei for probably 2-3 years, and is no longer supported. Huawei has been updating their currently supported devices to Android 9, EMUI 9.

Is it a custom ROM or something you updated?
