If you have any questions to the phone, feel free to ask! I am currently using the Huawei Honor 7 as my daily driver and I love the phone so far. Even using it more than my OP2. As I like the Honor 7's 5.2 inch better than 5.5. For me a much better phone size and very pocket friendly.

Playstore & Gapps?
My Honor 7 came with Gapps out of the box, but if you for some reason should loose the Play Store and Gapps after a factory reset, go into the Chinese App Store and search for "Google", find the "Play Store" and install that, search also for Google "Contacts" and install that, after a reboot, you will again have the Play Store and contacts will be able to sync just fine.

Hi wanted to know if you can use both sim card or just one sim at a time

It is dual sim dual standby, that means you can use 2 SIM Cards, but only 1 active at the time. If you for example use SIM1 for talking, then SIM2 will be in standby mode. After finish talking both will be in standby again.

Hi is there a setting where i can make both the sim working at the same time . I mean both the sim to standby at the same time . I can only have one sim active at a time . So i have to switch the sim in the setting if i have to use the other sim

Both SIMs active at the same time is not possible on a Dual Standby phone, for that you would need a Dual Active phone. But why do you want both active at the same time? you can only talk with 1 number at the time anyway?

When you use the dialer, you can choose to use SIM1 or SIM2 I believe, or try swiping down the notification drawer to see if there is an option to pick SIM1 or SIM2.

Hi yes i want it just like your screen shot, both sim on standby and when calling i can choose which sim to call with, but i cannot because i have only one sim on standby even though both sim is inserted , as you can see from the screen shot i put , one sim has signal and the other sim has no signal

Maybe the SIM with no signal is not working? normally both should have signal.
Thats what i thought so i changed the sim setting on the phone and then sim 1 that was active had no signal and sim 2 went active . I am useing both the sim of the same operator ,one for data and other for call

Hi got my phone to work with 2 sim into dual standby , it seems that the phone works in dual standby if you have sim card from 2 different operators . It worked perfectly with 2 different operators, but when i put both sim card of the same operators i get the same problem ,thats is just one sim on standby. Wondering if its a phone or software problem, or if anyone else has the same problem

Maybe it is because the phone only has 1 IMEI number, and the same network only allow 1 SIM with 1 IMEI number, so if you use 2 SIMs on the same network it will not work (it would require 2 different IMEI numbers one for each card), but if you use 2 SIMs with different networks it will work, as each network will allow the 1 IMEI number to be registered.

Hi I just checked and it seems that the phone has 2 IMEI so like you said if the phone has 2 IMEI then it shoud work . but it is not working for me

I recently bought Honor 7 from Hong Kong online.
The EMUI version installed is Chinese.
I have changed all settings to English. Keyboard, language etc. So, google play and others are in English.
But, the Huawei installed apps, browser and all other, like the downloadable themes, display Chinese and there is no option to change that to English.
Can anyone help me install or update the EMUI installed to display in English instead of Chinese?

Is it possible?

Please read it properly and answer if you correctly,.. My phone (Honor 7 PKL-UL00) is displaying single sim only but i have inserted 2 sim's of different operators , both sim's are in working conditions . but my phone displays single tower (1slot) and displays single calling option ,..sim in slot 2 is inactive ! But if i use Memory card in that slot it works properly , Just see the snapshot below ,.
