Huawei rumor?

Not sure Huawei buying Nokia would actually be a good thing: most likely all they want are the patents and a brand name they can stick on their current products.

Not that there's anything wrong with Huawei's products .. 'cept maybe making it even easier for the Chinese security services to listen in :D

Just read the El Reg review of the 925 and it actually sounds pretty good. What sounds even better is the heavily trailed - sorry, leaked - launch of a Lumia with the camera tech from the PureView that's due in about 3 weeks time. Now that would be a potential game changer.

I don't see anyone reviving Symbian. It was always a bit of a dogs dinner. Exceptionally good at some things like managing power, but insanely complicated to get working on a phone. At least, I assume it was given how pretty much every phone that ever got it was riddled with bugs for months after release.

Like you, what I'd really like to see would be Nokia droids .. :D

I thought Nokia was a Microsoft subsidiary now?

It may seem that way, but .. :D

As the article Zuben links to says, Nokia has a few options open to it - MS ownership being one of the less likely ones. My fav: it kicks off the Plan B that involves building droids :D

And in other news, Huawei is launching a 9 inch screen Android phone.

Imagine how ridiculous you'd look holding that up to the side of your head!
