Root Huawei Valiant Bootloader Unlock Request

Hello friends,

Just making a post about newly purchased Huawei Valiant, regarding bootloader unlock procedures. Being new to the Android based software, I rooted my phone after various tutorials and research. Although the phone is rooted and SIM-unlocked, I was unable to install a custom recovery due to the locked bootloader, and upon researching, wasn't able to find any procedures to unlock the Huawei Valiant bootloader. Let me elaborate.

First I attempted to request Huawei officially for the bootloader code through the official website, only to find the page had been reformatted.
I then attempted to use the EmotionUI website to request for the bootloader code, only to find that the Valiant model was not available.
After that, I attempted to use the DC-unlocker program, only to find that the Valiant drivers were not provided, even through the website specified the device was supported.

As a newer, more uneducated member of the Android community, I seek help from the forums for this issue. Had I gone to the wrong links, have I done something incorrectly for DC-unlocker?
Please help!!

Update: I've attempted to obtain the code through the mobile@huawei.com address, but I'm not sure if Huawei will reply. Hopefully they will~

Update V2: So yea, I was able to eventually unlock my bootloader, and install EagerestWolf's CWM. I'll have a small guide posted on this thread, feel free to PM me if you have any problems, or post them on the thread itself.

Hey iam33three, as of now, I actually have a version of clockworkmod recovery installed on my Valiant, as this post was made a while ago, and I haven't gone around to update it. Heres how I did it... Essentially, I emailed Huawei support at mobile@mail01.huawei.com (mobile@huawei.com) for the bootloader code, including my valiant's S/N and IMEI numbers. They were actually quite quick, and replied to me within hours. After that, I used a standard bootload unlock procedure with the ADB toolkit, downloaded here,

Android SDK | Android Developers.

After that, open the command prompt in the folder, and type fastboot devices to check if your device is connected. (If there isn't any feedback, reconnect your phone and reinstall the Valiant's drivers) Then I entered "fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxxxxxxx", the x's being your bootloader code. Your bootloader should be unlocked after this procedure. I then installed the CWM recovery for the valiant through EagerestWolf's tutorial, which could be found within the Huawei All Things Root repository.

That's it! CWM works pretty well for me so far, I haven't run into any problems with it... But I haven't been able to find any compatible roms for the Valiant as of yet, so if you find any please feel free to share! As for the installation process, if you have any issues, feel free to post on this thread. ^-^

I've removed your IMEI codes as that's not really a good idea to post those in an open forum.

Also, I'm guessing we (this site) is not the proper place to request an unlock code, but rather you probably need to contact the folks mentioned in the posts above here.
