Those are message notifications that ate on your lockscreen.
No, they are not. When I press either one of them this comes up at the bottom of the screen:
If you press the play button, it highlights different objects on the screen and says what they are such as "Google Search" or the temperature. If you touch various items on the screen as well the phone tells you what it is.
