Thanks for the question, but we'll probably need more information about which particular device you have in order to answer your question.

It's possible that your device has a sealed (non-removable) battery. Many devices still do have removable batteries and you can see a small notch or gap in the top or bottom of the phone where the back cover may be removed. If you don't see one or it doesn't obviously seem to budge (don't force it!), then you may not have a removable back cover.
