According to Strategy Analytics, Huawei pushed past Samsung in Q3 to become the most profitable Android smartphone manufacturer during the quarter. While Huawei has been trailing right behind Samsung for quite some time, Samsung's smartphone profits took a nose dive during Q3 due to the recall of the Galaxy Note 7. Surprisingly, Vivo and Oppo managed to pull in more profits than Samsung for the quarter as well.
