Making a long story short, he got me a Moto Atrix. I am very pleasantly shocked.

I will be keeping my X10 as back up for now but probably will not be active here.

Thank you all for all the help you extended to me. :)

Did you also get the mini laptop? This phone looks so cool! Just wait until the X10 is upgraded to 2.3 and sell it!

No, just the phone.

That's kind of what I was thinking, the value of the X10 should increase with the 2.3. I really do like the X10, so I may just keep it as a backup phone, not sure.

I wonder how much the mini laptop costs. If it's cheaper than a netbook it might be worth it (well it's never worth it if you don't need it in the first place!).

Well congratulations! Is this phone open? (rootable, open bootloader, etc.)

I don't really need it and I think it is pretty expensive. I just got an 11" Macbook Air about a month back- yes an Apple product. :D

Thank you. I just rooted it and removed some bloatware butt Moto locks their bootloaders pretty tight.

The wanna be netbook is around $500. So stupid. The wanna be netbook that runs off the phone costs more than the phone and costs more than a regular netbook that can actually do a lot more.

I like the ability to plug phone into TV, having to use some docking station is annoying, but I think the huge drawback is that useless wanna be netbook.

I looked it up on Bell's website and they sell it for $350. That's the price of a netbook (which comes with a CPU, RAM, hard drive, etc.) and considering it's basically an LCD and a keyboard, it's a major ripoff! I first thought it would be around $100... was I wrong!

$500 for phone and lapdock. $600 with a giftcard for AT&T and you are forced to sign at least a 2 year contract. It's very light....but bigger than a netbook too.

So useless.
