Help hudl not charging

my brother was using a hudl tesco tablet in the UK. but when he got to the USA and plug it it didn't charge, it's now in my country that uses the same electric standard with UK and its still not charging. what is wrong

Did you try another charger?
It could be the charger, the cable, the battery, or the tablet itself.
I would test in that order.
