Help hudll2 usb

Hi, having an issue withmyhudll2 usb.
Last night everything worked fine, both charging and using an OTG cable to transfer photo's, this morning however, wouldn't charge till I turned it off, and the card reader is receiving power intermittently so cannot even view photos.
The device is up to date and has been for a while.
Any thoughts on what I could do?

My son had a Hudl 2 and had issues with the charging port and I picked one up 2nd hand and it would only charge with a very specific cable so I wonder if they have an issues?

Sounds like my hudll2 might be on the way to gubbed then.
I'm going travelling in January and need to be able to upload pic's while I'm away, so I need a tablet and I can't really afford to buy another one.
So, a thought, can I change from Tesco operating system to another one? would this solve the problem? and if so how and to what?

Which is kinda annoying as despite it being a decent, cheap device, there wasn't much development for it.

Mine ended up getting a "No Bootable device" error so I RMA'd it, (I'm not sure what happened to my wee boys, but I know his mum bought him another tablet). It was only a year old, but I got £40 for it which I put towards a cheap Lenovo tablet from Argos. The Lenovo is good, but the Hudl was much better.

Managed to get photos across with app and WiFi, will have to hope it will still charge while I'm away
