I can never set up my corp exchange account on any android phone with the exception of HTC made devices. None of them accept my company's server address format.

Would someone mind going into settings and setting up a dummy account for exchange. You can use any email address and domain name. I am just trying to see if it will accept a server address with an IP followed by a port. So if you could enter into the server address 123.123.123.123:12345 and see if it will even allow you to enter it I would be forever gratefull.

Just checked and it doesn't appear to work. After typing the IP address in as formatted above the "next" button greys out. Sorry :-\

Did you try the enhanced email app ?

Yeah, that works. Just not a big fan, plus you cant do calandar invites off your exchange contacts if they arent stored locally.

Got it. I thought it worked a lot better for me over the stock email app in Froyo. (OG droid)
For one, the storage seems to be handled better.
