Accessories HUGE news. New case gives you power and protection in one

interesting. i wonder how much bigger/thicker the phone is with this on? i need some real life in someones hand pics.
 
I seen this the other day too. I'll stick with the case I have though since the price of that case is a little much and it looks absolutely huge.
 
Cool idea.

I'm assuming this stays plugged into the usb/charge port of the phone. I wonder how safe that is to leave something plugged in all the time and while out in the field. Seems like a bump or impact from a fall to that part of the phone could be pretty disastrous even with the rubber case.

edit: the iphone one looks like it makes it so you can charge and sync with a microusb cable. I know several people who'd love it for that alone with the extra battery as just a bonus.
 
The extra size is not a problem, but I need a belt case for it, like I use now. Should be an option to have a belt case with the battery case... that was not confusing...
