Help Hulu Plus doesn't allow HDMI Output??

I hooked my phone up to my tv to watch Hulu Plus. I'd never watched it from my phone with the TV before, but I often watch other videos and play games and such on the TV with my phone. When I was on the episode page, I pressed play and then the video stayed on the "Buffering" status and a message was on the screen that said "HDMI Output Disabled." I tried it with another Hulu Plus episode and the same thing happened. Is there a setting I can change within Hulu to allow HDMI output, or do they not allow it from mobile?

Because if you were going to copy a TV show, you'd pay $8/month and then rip it from a low bitrate mobile stream, complete with commercials. Much more practical than torrenting an HD rip with the commercials already cut and not paying a dime.

Hulu+ allows streaming to all sorts of TV connected devices, so I can't imagine that's why they're blocking HDMI out.

Way to screw the paying customer, Hulu!

I totally agree. I can turn around and watch the same show on my TV via Xbox or PS3, but if I want to use my phone to watch on the TV, I'm screwed. It makes no sense when I'm paying for this service..not to mention paying for a service that includes advertisements...
