After a very brief comparison back in May, I had concluded the A500 display was almost as good as the Transformer.
After testing for an hour today at Best Buy, I must recant. No comparison, since the Trans is IMO much better. Just wish it had a USB host port
I was holding out for the Thrive, since the A500 has screen-on and weak wifi issues, and the Trans has no USB host on tablet.
Now that I am hearing mixed reports about the Thrive's display, I will have to wait and see for myself.
Added:
In spite of no USB host, I may end up with the Transformer. I appreciate the KB provides it, but I do not want one for a tablet, nor the $150 extra cost.
Considering Asus stated they make no money on the tablet, but are using the keyboard to make a profit, that kind if explains why no USB host on the tablet
Nice tab and display, none the less. Sadly, back to my gTablet for a few more days
I think I will end up with the Transformer. The display is so pretteeeeeee'.
