Help Humbly asking for wi-fi help - thanks!

Hello to all here and thank you in advance for your help for a newbie.

We've just received our new SuperPad2 FlyTouch3 from China and it's terrific. However, our wi-fi reception is terrible. We have a router in our house and the signal is great for our laptops -- so we're unclear as to why it's not very great on the tablet, and keeps dropping out for our new tablet. This makes us very sad.

We see on here lots of fixes and roots and flash etc but know little of what all of that means. Would someone be so kind as to point us to any simple updates we need to download, or fixes, etc. -- so we can improve our poor wi-fi reception? Many thanks for your kindness.

Also - our video does not seem to play very fast or very well.

There are many threads on here and other forum concerning opening the tablet and checking the hardware for faults when you have poor wifi range. If you want to try a firmware solution look for one on this thread Technical Help for SP III (Fake FT3-SP2-Clone)

It is specifically for the SAWEE model whereas this thread is not, any solutions you see on here wont work on your tablet.
 
...so are we to assume we have a 'fake' superpad? what are the ramifications of having this fake model - where did we go wrong? what should we expect? many thanks again...

All Flytouch's are 'fakes', the original tablet with these specs and case have long since vanished.. the real question you should be asking is how good/bad is my particular 'fake'.

Unfortunately.... the SAWEE and SAWEE10 models were generally seen as being poor quality and the internal construction was different to the popular DISCO/DISCO10 models meaning that support and firmware between the models was not possible, hence the different forum thread for the SAWEE. More lately, there has been a P041 model, which has roots in the SAWEE model and is enjoying some development as I type!

The answer to what you should expect will vary on who does the telling!! Some will say return it and buy a 'proper' FT3 (a DISCO model if you want to use Tims/Flanflingers/S01's firmware, or a P041 model if you want the latest model, but steer clear of any other models as there are plenty out there! or don't bother with a Flytouch at all and buy something that has one manufacturer, one support base and one way of doing things)

If you want to stay with a Flytouch ASK the vendor which model it is that you will receive after reading up on the various models in these forums.
