Unfortunately, I failed to heed your warning to create a backup before making changes to the filesystem. I deleted system apps resulting in a phone that will receive calls and texts but has no interface. I realize that your warning suggested the solutions are neither cheap nor easy, but I would appreciate knowing what my options are and if there is anything I can do to restore functionality.

As long as you can get into recovery / download mode you could just reflash a new ROM.. or reflash your current one and hope nothing else goes wrong without a backup? Or do you know what apk's you deleted? Maybe someone will be able to share?
