humidity effects on android phone

hi everyone , I just got my new galaxy s3, and here in my city it is raining a lot so I just want to ask is it ok to keep a phone for a period of time inside the jacket pocket (the inner one) , can this cause humidity inside the phone or it is ok.....

I know it is strange question , but I need a help to know , how bad is it for the phone...

As long as the phone doesn't get wet? I doubt it will be a problem.

thanks for the help , usually when it rains , I keep the mobile inside my jacket pocket to avoid the liquid damage to the phone, but when I take it out I feel the mobile Is hot a little and I think it is normal because it was inside the pocket hidden from the rain , I don't know if keeping it inside the pocket can generate a humidity or causing a moisture to be inside the mobile ????

The only humidity damage i know that is extremely harmful to your device and can be fatal to the inside, is keeping your phone in the bathroom while you take a long hot shower, without a shower fan on...it gets very humid and this can damage your device.

Keeping it in your pocket like this should be fine.

thanks for help , I think it is ok to keep it in the pocket....still a better choice from exposing to direct rain....
